About Gracie
Her journey with nutrition began when she was a sophomore in college. Her grandmother, Esther, had severe complications with diabetes, which she would later learn could have been prevented with simple nutrition education and guidance. She quickly changed her major and studied Nutrition Science. She graduated from Baylor University and accepted an internship in New York, which included interning with the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) and various other community and hospital locations in Long Island. She has accepted positions working in the clinical setting including New York Presbyterian Hospital, Children’s Hospital Dallas & Baylor Scott and White Frisco. Since 2008, she has maintained a private practice in the DFW area.
Over the past few years, her focus has shifted because of her own personal struggles with fertility, SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth), hormonal imbalances, and psoriasis. It has led her on a different path, one that includes a philosophy centered around a holistic, personalized approach to health and healing using whole foods, tailored supplements and mind and body modalities in clinical practice.
She has completed comprehensive training in food sensitivities and is an Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner. She has additional training in herbal medicine but believes her learning is ongoing. On a personal note, she is a wife to Aldo and a mother of 3 in Frisco, TX. You can find her camping, biking or cooking in the kitchen with her kids.
